Credit cards or cash in Etosha?
All the resorts inside Etosha are set up to accept debit and credit cards however they work on a wifi system that occassionally goes down and also relies on electricity which also occasionally goes off, then only cash is accepted.
Even if it's not your fault about the power/wifi not working it is still your responsibility to be able to pay in cash, so pay your accommdation in advance and take enough cash (Namibian Dollars or South African Rand accepted, no foreign exchange) to cover park fees, meals, drinks, snacks, fuel and special game drives.
