Things To Do at Ghost Canyon Cabin

The rusty, bullet-ridden Hudson at the entrance road is a relic from a gunfight between diamond smugglers and police. It is said that their ghosts roam the valley in search of their lost diamonds. Further along the trail, a series of stone ramparts are visible from WWI days (1914-18), from when the German forces built fortifications here in the Aus hills to make a stand against the South African Union soldiers.

At the end of a fun-filled day, spend the evening sitting around the kitchen table or camp fire, bonding with the other members of your group while sharing stories of your own adventures and reminisce about days gone by and the history of the glory and heartbreak of diamond dreams.
