Things to do at Olifantsrus Camping in Etosha National Park Namibia

You can spend all day and all night (the waterhole is lit at night) and watch animals coming and go. Be aware if you are downstairs during the day the animals can see you so sit still and move calmly and gently so not to disturb them. Keep still and quiet and they will come in and drink for you to admire.

A small museum beside the reception is a fascinating reminder of how fragile our eco system is and has an outline of how Etosha went from ZERO ELEPHANTS in the 70s to too many to support in the 80s to a nice balance today.
