Palmwag Camping in Damaraland Namibia

Welcome to Palmwag Camping in Damaraland Namibia.

In the north-western corner of Namibia, between Kaokoland and the Skeleton Coast, lies the arid landscape of Damaraland. This protected area, spanning 550 000 hectares, is one of Africa’s last wildernesses and provides refuge to black rhino, lion and the famous desert elephant in this scarcely inhabited place.

Where tributaries of the Uniab River flow together and underground water nourish the makalani palms and robust mopane trees, Palmwag Campsite offers the ideal place to just sit and relax around the campfire, gaze at millions of stars and celebrate nature while exploring the Palmwag Concession area.
